About Us
Understudy Press is for authors who are tired of writing to market. We are looking for strange fiction in the margins of genres that you might have a hard time condensing down to an elevator pitch. If you feel that you have something only you could have written, we want to read it.
We intend to publish novels, poetry, creative non-fiction, and short stories. If you've written something that doesn’t quite fit into any of those categories but seems like we might be interested in it, send it our way. We won’t rule out anything categorically.
